The faces of the world’s top 10 billionaires

Some comments:

the sum of wealth is 1,100.5 billion dollars. That is about a third of French GDP

10 people, 10 men. The richest woman in the world is Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, owner of L’oréal, and her fortune is estimated at 83.6 billion dollars ( figure in 2022, which explains why she does not appear on this graph) and is the 11th richest person in the world. She was at the foot of this exclusively male podium

7 companies are American, 2 Indian and the 1st is French, on a photo that has already changed since January 12 (it is January 19)

Like any photo, it does not show the variations: the ranking has varied enormously and continuously in two years; the animation of EEAGLI that you can find on this link shows it clearly

So sure, it might take a certain age to be successful, but the average age of the 10 people is 66; the youngest is 49 years old, the oldest 92 years old

A great absentee: Mark Zuckerberg

One of them “lost” $200 billion in 2022! Yes yes !

Several of these fortunes have decided not to leave their fortune exclusively to their children: they will have to succeed on their own, even if we bet it these children are not to be pitied

Some have spoken out in favor of paying more tax: it seems a more transatlantic “movement”

Note that one (but perhaps you have information that I do not have on the other families), Bernard Arnault works with the family: he recently appointed two of these children to positions of greater responsibility

And you, what do you see on this graph? Or what may be more interesting, what this graph does not show?

In a year, what will be the top 3?
